The Fojoely Conspiracy
The below is a deranged conspiracy theory developed by free_geek on the discord in response to a random comment. There is no shred of official canon in the comments below. There are some spoilers to the first five campaigns though, so proceed with caution.
In the first campaign, the group encountered a fae baker named Fojoely and their assistant Nerdyc. Titus already knew the duo, but they were new to the rest of the party. The conspiracy holds that while the duo was new to the party, the party was not new to the duo. In fact, according to the theory, Fojoely is the architect of a far reaching conspiracy and will eventually end up being the BBEG of the show. Here are the notes as they currently exist.
- Arcadia – While Fojoely was not familiar with Arcadia when he met her, he did recognize her as a denizen of Sapphos and this concerned him especially since there seemed to be an easy connection between Arcadia and Eden. Playing it safe he used an existing plan that he was working on that involved Sapphos to attempt to remove her from the board. His plan though did not take into account that Venice would be even hotter then Arcadia and so the hag, which was meant for Arcadia went after Venice instead, ruining Fojoely’s plans.
- Eden – When they met Eden, the duo pretended to not know who fae were, which was a lie. In truth they were well acquainted with the legendary fae warrior. In fact Fojoely was worried that faem being on this plain was going to become a problem. To deal with this, he used his knowledge of Titus to manipulate them into grabbing the wrong orb during the heist job. Knowing that Titus would eventually touch the orb and be possessed by a dragon. As expected, this resulted in Eden being killed by Titus. At the moment, it is assumed that Fojoely was not counting on Eden having such a deep connection with faer legendary weapon that faey were able to possess it and return to this plane.
- Titus – To date Fojoely has seen Titus as a bit of a rube. Their pride and impulsivity has made them easy to manipulate and Fojoely has taken advantage of this when needed. Recent changes since the death of Eden though may be changing this dynamic. Not to mention the fall out that is sure to come if Titus ever discovers what Fojoely has been doing
There are a couple of questions that the theory presents and which have not yet been answered.
- Pocket Watch – Who’s side is Pocket Watch on? Titus found them in the Fojoely’s kitchen, but if he is a Fojoely plant or some other player is as yet unknown
- The other assistant – Reliable sources have indicated that Fojoely has a second assistant named dtigertron, but they have not yet been seen as far as we can tell.
- Fojoely’s plan – What is Fojoely’s ultimate plan? Why is he doing this? There is an old story that may shed light on this, if you’re the kind of person to believe those kinds of stories.
